Casual Concert
Practice performing in front of others in a low-pressure setting.
When: Sat, Apr 20th, 4:30pm
Who: Any student on any musical instrument in NYC of any age, whether or not you are a student of NYC Violin Studio (30 seat limit).
Where: NYC Violin Studio
What: Are you scared of performing? Perhaps you just need to practice the skill of performing in front of other people. Come join us in a casual, low-pressure situation at the studio where we set up Open Mic style, and each person comes to share a song, or piece of a song, or a scale, anything really, on their instrument, so they can get used to standing up in front of people and playing something while all eyes are on them. The only people in attendance are other student performers, who will root you on no matter what. No guests permitted, performers only.
Cost: Free.

Our Annual Spring Concert held at a beautiful church in Chelsea.
When: Sat, Apr 27th, 1:30pm
Who: For students of NYC Violin Studio and their guests.
Where: St Paul's German Lutheran Church, 315 W 22nd St., NY, NY.
What: Come see our talented students and teachers at our annual Spring Student Concert!
Cost: $20 for guests. Free to play. (If you are performer and you have no guests attending, we ask that you purchase a ticket.) Bulk ticket discounts available.

Technique Essentials
When: Saturdays at 12:00, starting May 4th. New topics monthly.
Who: Beginners on up
Where: NYC Violin Studio
What: Proper technique is crucial for a command of your instrument. In this class, we show you exercises to improve your core skills, and practice them together. Beginners will come to learn what to practice; Intermediate students will come to warm-up, and get their practice time in for the week!
Cost:
- One group class credit or
- $37.50 for Members / $35 VIP
- $50 for non-members.

Solo Repertoire
When: Saturdays at 1:00, starting May 4th. New topics monthly.
Who: Late Beginners, Early Intermediate
Where: NYC Violin Studio
What: You asked for it, you got it! Come learn solo repertoire so you've got something fun to practice, and some great things to perform for your friends and family! See calendar for weekly/monthly pieces.

Never touched a violin before? Then this is the perfect class for you! All adults in this class have no experience on the violin, so you will be in good company while our experienced teachers help you navigate the first steps on the violin.

I’ve always believed that adults can learn violin.
In fact, I love teaching violin to adults! There's something very special to me about an adult who has always wanted to learn As a full-time violin teacher with more than 12 years of violin teaching experience, I have made it my life's mission to teach violin to adults in the most efficient, effective and fun manner possible.
I believe that teaching students how to read sheet music not only empowers them but also opens up a vast repertoire of musical possibilities, just as teaching illiterate individuals to read transforms their lives and grants access to a world of opportunities.
My classes will help you improve on violin so that you can achieve your goals in playing anything you like!
